The IFEC is dedicated to encouraging stakeholders to offer investor and financial education to the people of Hong Kong. By equipping individuals with enhanced financial literacy, they are empowered to make informed financial decisions, fostering long-term financial wellbeing. The Investor and Financial Education Award (IFEA) aims to recognise the outstanding contributions made by stakeholders in advancing investor and financial education in Hong Kong.

Objectives

• To recognise stakeholders from government bureaux and departments, statutory bodies, businesses, professional associations, non-governmental organisations, and schools for their contributions in providing quality investor and financial education to the people of Hong Kong.
• To promote the sharing of best practices among stakeholders and foster collaborations to address the imminent needs on investor and financial education in Hong Kong.
